It's me again (Gordon)- this is facing back down towards the 16th tee. The ball was hit coming up the 16th fairway? How?? But got a 6/1 out of it.

Gordon had a day of struggling with his driving - his tee shot on the 1st was just a start, but a good one. A vicious swing, but deftly struck tee shot, looped the ball high, which with some grace landed softly in-between the roots up against the adjacent tree - some 10 feet away. I say 'deftly' as the ball probably looped more on wind power than by contact with the metal. Kev was determined to record it in history - you'll have to look closely for the ball in his photo though.

Kim's tee shot off the 10th into the one remaining small tree-bush separating it from the 11th. Oddly Kim is missing his usual 'Bush' hat in that shot! And it must have felt odd as Kim's only ever been in that kneeling position once before in his life when Mary-Anne said yes.

Ash’s 2nd shot on the 6th hole ended up in nestled in a tree on the right hand side of the bank. DH
(Ash - Photo don't do it justice. The ball was 3 foot up the the tree.)
Can we believe Ash? There aren't any trees left on the 6th are there?

Kim's drive on the 9th which disappeared in the dip only to be found protected with its very own little fence...KP.
Or my preferred explanation:
Apparently Kim's ball was so out of control in his game that he finally had to put it in a cage on the 9th!!

Richard Fs 3rd shot on the 5th, landed in the left hand of the two trees guarding the approach to the green. That could be a Maradona hand at work in the 2nd photo - caught in the act of taking out or placing a ball??
It could be a contender?? Certainly got some enthusiatic player particiaption - mind you Ray got rather distracted by the whole thing as Robbo explains in the 11th Oct Swindle report!

Bob Phillips found the original t(h)ree wood shot on the 16th on Friday. A thorough forensic review has confirmed that the ball is a BoB ball. And it’s the kind of shot that precisely fits with Bob’ declared agenda to get his HC to a level at which he can clean up all the prizes.
A definite contender for the end of year prize.

Ray's drive off the 9th tee. Took a while to find; hiding just over the ditch, nestled in the roots of the big Oak. Given the rain and wind at the time it may have been taking shelter! No clubs were damaged in taking the shot, A drop was the only solution. (may 23 GA).

Robbo’s tee shot on the 8th, nestled in the tree just left of the green. I thought the photo was going to show how he climbed into the tree to play it! But apparently he said he had to take a drop? Could be a strong contender? At least it didn't come out and roll down into the lake. (Mar 23 JP)

Tim's drive off the 12th demolished the ladies tee-marker and ended up near the 11th bunker. May have ricocheted off the bin too, but not sure.
Tim the took one club out the bag and went to the ball to play it. Before he could I asked him to pose for a photo for you website blog. After playing his shot he went into panic mode looking all around him. 'Wheres my bag, where's my bag'- " At the 12th tee I shouted".
Later in the clubhouse Tim offered me all the money he had on him not to send it to you. I refused. (Mar 23 AP). (Ed. I'm not sure all this is correct - the idea that Ash would have refused a cash payment is a little hard to believe!!).

Steve Bell's ball on the 13th I think he said. Definitely one to hack out to save a shot. (Mar 23)
