Competition Scoring
For each hole, the best gross score recorded in any of the 10 Golfer Of The Year Competitions is counted (The list of 10 GOY comps is set out below).
From the total score, 3/4 of Club WHS (Comp) handicap applicable to the particular competition is deducted.
Immediately following the final GOY competition (rounded to the nearest whole number) the relative WHS (Comp) handicap will be deducted to arrive at the final net score.
In the event of a tie, standard count back rules are used to determine the winner.
Note that for published interim tables the WHS ( Comp) Handicaps current at that time of the Competition will be used.
Position after 3 Eligible Competitions
The Eclectic Competition Results shown are after the first 3 Competitions. There have been some excellent scores, plenty of pars and birdies ands as a result 16 players have net scores below 70.
Current leaders in the club house :-
1st place - Kevin Bandito Sandford net 62 points.
2nd place - Steve Bell net 63 points
3rd place - Gordon Allen net 64 points (BB9)
4th place - Rex Argent net 64 points
With 7 competitions to go no doubt the competition will 'hot up' !!!
