Seniors Brazier Trophy Betterball - Two Tees :
Black and White (Teams of 4)
16th October 2023
With 'drop outs' and then 'add back ins', Ray got a rather bad headache trying hard to keep 4 balls intact for the annual two tees 4ball team game! Two of 4 played off the whites and the other 2 off the blacks.
A very cold start to the day caught some out, but it improved a little later on.
The winning team of Richard S, Chris, Greg and Ivan came in with an excellent 92 points (just one below last years score), with the chasing team 2nd team of Sharpie, Wilco, Andy and Captain Kev coming in with 88 points.
The rest were some way off the pace.
Very well done to those two teams.
Team 6 had to do some quick bonding before they went out as, although both players have been in and around the seniors for some years, formal introductions were required between Don and Graham (K) !!
Apparently Kim's ball was so out of control in his game that he finally had to put it in a cage on the 9th!! It's been added to the 'Unsual Ball Endings' Comp, but I wouldn't celebrate a win yet!
Nearest the pin on the 8th (a little unfair to have one in game with black and white tees?) was Ray with an excellent shot (nevertheless!).
